In the midst of brewing power play unsettling the All Progressives Party, the APC, a chieftain of the party in Delta North, Hon Emmanuel Ojemeh have come out strongly to encourage those stifling the party in the state and in Delta North Senatorial zone, to cooperate with the progressive and forward looking efforts of President Tinubu, who is the leader of the Party.

Hon Ojemeh who made the disclosure to NigeriaOnline24, in Asaba on Monday, adduced that the unnecessary infights and narrow mindedness of some politicians have mitigated the efforts of the party to prosper as expected in the state. Some politicians have refused to reciprocate the magnanimity they gained from the party at their entrance, to others coming into the party.

” It is really disappointing that we are where we are today in Delta APC. A party that has men and women of proven political history and weight, have continued to falter in Delta state and particularly in Delta North, owing to the narrow mindedness of few. ”

A senatorial zone that has Rt Hon Victor Ochei, late Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Chief Hyacinth Enuha just to name but a few, was reduced to a one man show

“Delta state APC is never in want of political heavyweights, what has kept us from achieving our potentials is something that should be bothering any progressive.”

It is no strange news that Sen Ned Nwoko is on his way to our party in Delta North, but should we pretend that the constellation is not building already?

” Instances abound of political leaders refusing to show magnanimity after the benevolence received from the party. Sen Ovie Omo-Agege came into the party built by Chief Omerhor O’tega, and was benevolently welcomed. What did he do thereafter, he created unnecessary factions within the party, did that help the party? No it didn’t ! Instead, a promising party faltered. Where is Chief Great Ogboru that propelled him to the Senate by galvanising his political capital in Delta central for him.”

What is wrong with Sen Omo-Agege tapping into the political school of thought of President Bola Tinubu, who builds bridges and not fences?

” State election 2023 would have been a stroll in the park to unity house if the house was beating with one heart. What did we get, one man alienated the leaders and people that made the party thick. A state that has people like Chief Emerhor O’tega, Rt Hon Victor Ochei, late Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Chief Great Ogboru, (penultimate his departure), Chief Ayiri Emami and so many political generals shouldn’t have had a problem winning overwhelmingly in the elections of 2023.”

” When you come to Delta North, it is a bigger house of unnecessary disharmony. Sen Peter Nwaoboshi that was welcomed into the party that has men with unimpeachable political antecedents. What did he do, hardly had he settled in did he start the process of negative political maneuvering and exclusionist voyage. A senatorial zone that has Rt Hon Victor Ochei, late Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Chief Hyacinth Enuha just to name but a few, was reduced to a one man show. How did that end? Where did that leave us.”

The rumoured tour of Sen Ovie Omo-Agege of Delta North is informed by jittery hence machination for self preservation

~ Ojemeh

“Today, the same negative politics is beginning to rear it’s head, both in the state and in my senatorial zone. What is wrong with Sen Omo-Agege tapping into the political school of thought of President Bola Tinubu, who builds bridges and not fences? What is wrong with Sen Omo-Agege working with the energetic and charismatic Chief Festus Keyamo, a senior power in the polity today?

” It is no strange news that Sen Ned Nwoko is on his way to our party in Delta North, but should we pretend that the constellation is not building already? We are beginning to see tussle from people who couldn’t win the last election creating needless resistance. Why will a Senator Peter Nwaoboshi have problems with the  coming of a political Highflyer like Sen Ned Nwoko? To me, it appears some people are destroying the efforts of president Tinubu, who is working tirelessly to rebuild the party in Delta state.”

“The rumoured tour of Sen Ovie Omo-Agege of Delta North is informed by jittery hence machination for self preservation in Delta north against the health and prosperity of the party in senatorial zone. How do you explain that such will be cooked with interesting and humorous lists flying here and there without consultation. Where is Hon Ulebor in all of these, where is Rt Hon Victor Ochei in all of these, where is Chief Enuha  where is Hon Doris Uboh in all of these ? I can state that it amounts to the same misuse of time if consultation and dialogue don’t precede it.”

I will implore the president to reign in on Delta State. Chief James Ibori should waste no more time coming in to galvanise and put this house in order.
