Comr Amechi Francis, who is the Media Director of APC in Aniocha South Campaign Council, stated that the APC candidate have the requisite expertise and experience to revolutionise Agriculture in the agrarian Local Government.

Prince Rister has the expertise, tested experience, and will power to revolutionize agriculture in the public sphere. His exploits in the Agricultural value chain sector are audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.”
The All Progressive Congress flag bearer for Aniocha South in the forthcoming House of Assembly elections in Delta State, is a political and Agricultural strategist, a born philanthropist, a youth, and more.
A glimpse into his Manifesto on the Agric revolution will focus on :
-Massive acquisition of arable land with the sole aim of creating an Agric value chain for interested youths who love agriculture.
– Training and empowerment of lovers of agriculture on oil palm business, poultry, fish farming, snail farming, etc.
– Partnering with research institutes on ways to improve yields of cassava varieties. E,g exposing communities to the benefits of using TME 419 species of cassava and other improved species of crops and seedlings
– Building a poultry colony with the needed infrastructure and extension services for rent at affordable prices. The same will be done in fish farming.
– Apart from engaging hundreds of youths in direct production, these farm territories will be managed by persons from Aniocha south local government. Security personnel from the local vigilante will be used to protect these investments. Markets will be created and marketers sought for.
– It is estimated that this measure can create a conservative figure of three hundred direct employment and over five hundred indirect jobs.
– Floating cottage industries that are Agric allied to integrate the raw materials produced by the local farmers into packable and exportable forms.
These cottage firms will hopefully have a presence in all the ‘clans’ in the Local Government.
To enhance community participation and inclusiveness as part of his legislative vision, town hall meetings will be held to appraise the need of these communities and the right industry to set up.
A three-man management committee will be set up to manage the industry. The members of the management committee will still be employees of the firm to boost their understanding of the workings of the firm.
Land for these projects will be donated by the community to avoid ambiguity in the ownership structure of these projects.
There will be periodic audits, and financial management evaluations by his office to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This practice will also ensure that the projects are working according to plan.
The management committee will be given a specific term of reference. They will be mandated to submit a quarterly report to his office.
Specific terms of reference will be drawn in line with the objectives of setting them up.
These objectives are; creating direct and indirect jobs within and around the community.
Sustainability by way of profit-making to ensure growth and expansion.
