The political movement rallying support for the re-election bid of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, the Smart Movement for Sheriff 2027, has extended its grassroots mobilisation drive to Abah Unor, Ward 10 in Aniocha South Local Government Area, with the inauguration of its Non-Indigenes Executive.
The inauguration, which attracted residents and supporters from the community, was led by the Commissioner for Technical Education, Delta State, and Convener of the Smart Movement for Sheriff 2027, Honourable Smart Ijeoma Ufoh.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ufoh highlighted what he described as the remarkable impact of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration in Aniocha South and particularly within Nsukwa Clan, noting that the governor’s commitment to infrastructure development has continued to positively affect the people.

He emphasized the importance of the ongoing Nsukwa-Abah Unor road project, describing it as a significant intervention that reflects the administration’s determination to improve connectivity, economic activities, and the overall wellbeing of communities in the area.
The Commissioner urged residents not to misapply their political choices in the forthcoming 2027 elections, calling on them to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all elective positions.

“Your votes remain your power. Do not misapply them in 2027. Support the APC 5/5 for continuity, progress, and sustainable development,” he charged.
Speaking specifically to the Non-Indigenes community, Hon. Ufoh assured them of inclusive governance and pledged that their contributions and expectations would receive due attention.

“What is due to you will come to you. You are part of this community and part of the development journey,” he assured.

The Convener of the Smart Movement for Sheriff 2027 also used the opportunity to encourage residents to participate actively in the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing the importance of obtaining their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).

He advised members of the community to ensure they complete their registration processes and report any challenges they encounter during the exercise, while encouraging an increase in voter registration numbers across the area.
The high point of the event was the formal inauguration of the executive members of the Smart Movement for Sheriff Non-Indigenes, Ward 10, marking another step in the organisation’s grassroots expansion ahead of the 2027 political season.

The inauguration ended with renewed commitments from members to strengthen community participation, mobilise support, and promote the message of continuity and development across Aniocha South.
