Crescendo Event Centre, off Mariam Babangida Road, Asaba, came alive over the weekend as Amaka Ufoh, daughter of Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh, was joined in holy matrimony with the love of her life.
Described by many as “the most beautiful girl in Nsukwa,” the bride, Amaka Ufoh, is known for her poise and academic distinction. The ceremony drew a roll call of well-meaning Deltans and Nigerians from across political, business, and community circles.
Leading the dignitaries was the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme. Also present were Commissioner for Finance, Chief Okenmor Fidelis Tilije; member representing Aniocha South State Constituency, Hon. Dr. Isaac Ozo Anwuzia, PhD; Commissioner for Women Affairs and Community Development, Hon. Barr. Pat Ajudua; Hon. Chief Austin Chikezie; Hon. Engr. Lawrence Ejiofor of the Delta State Legislature Affairs; among other top government officials.
The reception was further enlivened by sweet melodious performances from gospel artiste Adviser Isioma Ossai, whose music added colour and rhythm to the celebration.
Family, friends, and political associates turned out in their numbers to honour Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh and celebrate with the couple as they began their new journey.
Guests and well-wishers offered prayers for the couple, with many asking God Almighty to bless their union forever.
