Not even a blind man need be told that Agbor kingdom have been politically enslaved, relegated and pitifully dwelling in pathetic political melancholy brought upon her by the gimmicks of few ill-willed and self-serving political bullies, who pretend to mean well for the kingdom.
More worrisome is the very devastating extent this sickening political malady has degenerated into.
A situation where the supposedly enlightened Agbor political class sheepishly follow these bullies to political abattoir but willingly ignore their own shephard and turning themselves into beggars when in actual sense they possess the political strength and potential to reverse the ugly trend and stop these few political jobbers from further enslaving them. These seem comfortable in the wilderness of defeat.
More often than not, but which equally leaves much to be desired, these comfort-zone political slaves will rather help their oppressor build a political empire, than erect a structure at home.They take delight in pulling off their own rooftop and sacrificing their political potential on the altar of a morsel and dissipating their energy with gossips only to be drenched at dawn. Who has bewitched my people?
In all these, one man has stood firm and refused to be so intimidated, cowed, coarse into selling his political birth right or sheepishly toeing the line of error like these Agbor/Ika South politicians, who have ignorantly mortgaged our collective future for personal interest. This man has remained unshaken, unmoved and focused. That man is Barr Chiedu Ebie, the positive doggedness with which Bar Chiedu faces the zeal to work for the good of his immediate constituents and beyond clearly makes him a first class politician.
His travails culminate into testimonies and his challenges are always sign of good things to come. He remains one of the available few politicians destined to take Agbor kingdom to the promised land.
Barr Ebie thinks no failure, sees no failure, dreams no failure and talks no failure. He is a goal-getter. His passion for the less privileged, empowerment of women and youths into meaningful ventures. His open door administrative policy and desire for the political emancipation and advancement of Agbor kingdom has stood him out among his contemporaries.
A man determined to liberate his people and Ika South from the clutches of those who see themselves as veteran politicians but hell bent on destroying our structure by creating division among our people.
The people who have vehemently refused to shift grounds from the politics of impunity, hatred, sentiments and nepotism cannot be said to mean well for us.
The Agbor and Ika South people have a political leader in a positively disposed Chiedu Ebie. Its in furtherance of the recognition of this fact that it has become very necessary to urge those ‘follow-follow” Agbor politicians who out of personal interest for money with a view to destabilizing our political environment and bringing division to Ika South Local Government Area, to have a rethink.
The time has come for the intelligent and politically conscious Agbor sons and daughters to rally round this pragmatic political leader with enviable track record and sound pedigree to vehemently push for the advancement of Agbor kingdom. A word is enough for the wise and a stitch in time, they say, saves nine
