Sequel to the new electoral law ahead of the 2023 general election, the Political environment seems to be changing. How much the Political actors will adapt to this change remains a topical subject. Dr Tony Nwaka, a former Commissioner for Education and former Local government Chairman in Delta State in an interview with NOL24 TV has given insights on how the new electoral law will influence electoral reality in Delta State.
“The new electoral law has changed the Dynamics of politics”, he said. “People will now have a say in who leads them in Politics. Politicians who have taken people for granted will have so much to worry about. New entrants into the Political space will only have to work hard and stand a good chance of being elected into office. The era of one big man sitting somewhere and deciding who gets elected will be a thing of the past. ”
