The Commissioner for Technical Education in Delta State, Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh, has praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as three years of purposeful governance, declaring that the administration has transformed promises into measurable development across the state.
Ufoh, in a goodwill message marking the governor’s third anniversary in office, commended Oborevwori’s leadership style, saying the administration had demonstrated commitment, vision, and effective governance that continues to impact the lives of Deltans positively.
According to him, the governor’s achievements in the education sector, particularly in technical education, have positioned Delta State as a leading force in youth empowerment and skills development.

“Three years, threefold more. Your Excellency, as we mark three years of your purposeful governance, I must express my profound gratitude and great optimism for the future of our state,” Ufoh stated.
“It is a true testament to your dedication and hard work that Delta State has moved from mere promises to proof of good governance and effective leadership.”

The commissioner specifically applauded Governor Oborevwori’s support for the Ministry of Technical Education, noting that the administration’s investment in technical colleges, vocational programmes, and skills acquisition centres has created new opportunities for young people across the state.
He said the governor’s vision for quality technical education had driven remarkable growth and academic excellence within the sector in just three years.

“We have seen a significant increase in the number of technical colleges, vocational programmes, and technical skills acquisition centres, providing our youths with the necessary tools to compete in today’s ever-changing job market,” he added.

Ufoh further described the governor’s policies as people-oriented and development-driven, stressing that the continuity of the administration beyond 2027 would consolidate the gains already recorded in infrastructure, education, and human capital development.
He reaffirmed his support for Oborevwori’s leadership and expressed confidence that the administration would continue to deliver sustainable progress for the people of Delta State.

The statement comes amid growing commendations from political leaders, stakeholders, and government officials over the governor’s performance as his administration marks its third anniversary.
